JACQUI ALBERTS LUND
Jacqui Alberts is a tattooer and visual artist newly based in Copenhagen, Denmark. She specializes in historical Nordic/pagan influenced ornamental design as well as illustrations inspired by nature, folklore and history. She is well familiarized with runes, nordic mythology and ancient art styles, and views her work as extension of her dedication to storytelling, ritual and animist ways. You can find her most often at Kunsten På Kroppen (Copenhagen) and Moonlight Tattoo (Seattle, WA, USA) as well as on her travels throughout the globe.
Jacqui is also a published illustrator and resident contributor to Hyldyr publishing house. She has illustrated for several of their publications including “The Elder Futhark: The Oldest Runes”, and “The Little Book of Viking Age Symbols”.
She has been a poster artist for music festivals like Cascadian Midsummer and Northwest Terror Fest over the years, and has enjoyed offering her art in collaboration with bands, meaderies and productions of various kinds.
Co-Founder of Thrymskapr, Jacqui is active in organizing and events, helping to facilitate workshops, ceremonies and gatherings particularly in arts and spiritual communities, pursuing in anyway her passion for creating connectivity through art, history and magic.
